Logo 𐄂 Brand System
Located in National City, the Olivewood Gardens and learning center works locally and focuses on Hispanic and Filipino families, empowering them to be healthy and active citizens. Their vision is to reconnect students and families to the natural environment through food education and community engagement.
Working with two other designers through the Sage Project, our primary goal was to represent the community and hands-on programs of Olivewood while maintaining its historicism and the farm-to-table lifestyle they teach.
Taking their old logo to the next level, our partners loved our idea to combine the fork and spade into a new mark. The new mark represents their farm-to-table values and added flare at the joined handle references the Victorian-style Noyes house, which serves as their base of operation.
Beyond the clean exterior of their heritage, we also created a stamp for more hands-on purposes, for easy mail-in envelopes and makeshift craft tags for farmers market fundraisers.
